Overdraft Season follows Leo and his partner through the grey zone of the modern economy: too broke to live, too employed to quit, in a rust-belt city busy gentrifying around them.

DannyHO writes their year in small, exact scenes — “Ninety Miles” of commute, “Blue Line, Red Bank”, a “Dashboard Confessional” in a parking lot because the car is the only private room they own. “Static in Our Hands” holds the thesis: dignity is not a balance; it’s a practice.
