Capacity: the pleaser hits the limit

Capacity charts the collapse and reconstruction of a High-Functioning Pleaser — the person who is “fine”, who is “having fun”, whose “Standby Light” never actually turns off.

DannyHO writes the breakdown in status messages: “I’m Having Fun” (they are not), “HAZARD LIGHTS” (finally visible), “Drafts in the Dark” (every unsent no, archived). The title track is the moment the battery reads zero with the day only half done.

The reconstruction is the radical part: boundaries as violence that heals, disappointment as peace. You cannot pour from an empty person. Capacity is the sound of someone learning their own limit — and keeping it.
