The Great Unlearning: clearing the lot

The Great Unlearning is a demolition project. The protagonist returns to their childhood home to dismantle it — physically, in floorplans and load-bearing walls, and metaphorically, in everything the house taught them to repeat.

“Foundation” opens the dig. “Ghost in the Blood” names what travels through generations uninvited. “White Knuckle / Red Stain” is the hardest listen and the most necessary one. Then “Cleared Lot”: empty ground, finally honest.

DannyHO’s most serious record refuses the easy ending — nothing is rebuilt by the final track. That’s the point. Severing the transmission of pain is the work. What grows next gets to be chosen.
