Paper Thin Walls Vol. 2: the situationship files

Vol. 2 reopens the case file. This is DannyHO’s neo-noir on the Situationship Industrial Complex: a romance defined entirely by ambiguity, sustained on crumbs of affection and the dopamine of maybe.

The evidence is in the titles — “Breadcrumb Contract”, “Month to Month”, “Chill Contract”, each one a lease with no tenancy rights. “Low Maintenance” is the compliment that turns out to be the trap.

The investigation ends the only way it can: with the protagonist reclaiming the pen. Ambiguity is a kind of violence, the album argues, and naming things is the counter-spell. Walls this thin were never going to hold.
