Where Fluorescent Drift stayed in the city, Taroko Mist boards the train out. The album is a solitary pilgrimage from Taipei’s sensory overload into Taiwan’s ancient, breathing landscapes — and every track is a station.

“train out of taipei” (with Chiruki riding along) sheds the digital skin. “tea leaves settling” learns stillness from a cup. “black sand footprints” and “lantern in the rain” walk coastlines and gorges that have outlasted every anxiety ever brought to them.
