Tungsten: 11 PM to 5 AM, one apartment
Tungsten never leaves the room. Between 11 PM and 5 AM in a dim Taipei apartment, a heartbroken protagonist inventories what’s left: “Stains on the Mug”. “Keys on the Counter”. “Hiss on the Tape”. “Footsteps in the Hall” that belong to memory now.
DannyHO’s quietest album runs on the devastating gravity of everyday objects — the way a mug can outweigh a person. Its cruelest insight arrives near dawn: to preserve a memory is to preserve its weight. Curating the museum means living in it.
“Leave the Blinds Open”, the record finally decides. Let the tungsten light burn out into morning. Some exhibits close.
